Becky Anderson is currently working towards her Chartered Management Institute (CMI) Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management with Skillwise. Initially, she was apprehensive about returning to study after a long break, but with the support of Nuneaton Signs and her tutor at Skillwise, she has found the experience both rewarding and enjoyable. Becky is embracing the opportunity to learn new concepts and enhance her skills within her role.
The course covers a wide range of topics through various engaging methods, including written assignments, presentations, and taught sessions, which have kept her learning experience dynamic and interesting.
Becky began her studies in January 2024 and is on track to complete the qualification by October 2025. One of Becky’s highlights so far has been learning about the different leadership styles and understanding how they apply to her own role.
Returning to education has significantly boosted her confidence, and she is finding great value in applying new management techniques to her work. In particular, she has benefited from learning how to adapt her leadership approach to different teams and individuals, helping them to thrive and achieve the best possible outcomes.
Looking ahead, Becky is excited to expand her knowledge further, with upcoming modules covering finance, operational management, and project management. Her immediate goal is to successfully complete her qualification and continue applying her learning to her role. She also hopes to share her new knowledge with colleagues to support their development and is keen to explore additional learning opportunities once her course is complete.
